​Welcome to the Shannon Lake Elementary Hot Lunch Program

​We will be offering hot lunch every Monday, Thursday & Friday starting in October.​

​1. We are offering you more flexibility with hot lunch! There will now be a 2 week ordering cut-off for all hot lunch weeks, meaning that you have until 2 weeks prior to each hot lunch week to order for your child.

You can go back in at anytime and order for any hot lunch day. Changes to your existing hot lunch order can also be made as long as you do so prior the order cut-off date.

To better help you understand below is a link to the list of the order cut-off dates (green column) for the actual corresponding hot lunch date.

*Order cut off date for Oct 3, 6, 13 and 14th hot lunch date is Monday, September 26, 2022

​*Order cut off date for Oct 17, 20, 24, 27 and 28th hot lunch date is Monday, October 10, 2022
*Order cut off date for Oct 31, Nov. 3, 4, 7 and 10th hot lunch date is Monday, October 24, 2022

*Order cut off date for Nov 14, 17, 18, 21, 24 and 25th hot lunch date is Monday, November 7, 2022

*Order cut off date for Nov 28, Dec 1, 2, 5, 8 and 9th hot lunch date is Monday, November 21, 2022

​*Order cut off date for Dec. 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16th hot lunch date is Monday, December 5, 2022

2.​If you already have an account for a child at another school you can combine the two;  please email - let them know that you need to add Shannon Lake Elementary for a new student.  They are quite fast and efficient.  Alternatively, you can use a second email address if you have one to make an entirely new login for your SLE child.​

3. Hot lunch is run by volunteers - if you're able to help out  a couple hours of your time in a month it would be greatly appreciated, specifically on Thursday's. You don't have to commit to each Thursday, once or twice a month would be wonderful. Please email

PLEASE NOTE: ALL ORDERS MUST BE PAID AT THE TIME OF ORDERING. If your account is not paid by the ordering cut-off then your order will NOT be processed. No orders will be processed after closing day.

 Unpaid orders will not show on the school order report.
